What we collect
We only collect information you choose to send us through our contact form:
- your full name
- your email address
- your phone number, if you give it (optional)
- the subject you choose and your message
The form has a hidden spam check. We do not collect any other information about you through the form.
Why we use it
We use your details only to read and reply to your message, and to keep a record of the conversation. We do not use them for marketing, and we never sell or rent them.
Where it is stored and who sees it
Your message is stored securely on our website’s server and sent by email to info@misitumilele.org. Only Misitu Milele staff who handle enquiries can see it. Our website hosting provider stores the data on our behalf.
How long we keep it
We keep messages only as long as we need them to respond and keep a reasonable record of our correspondence, and we review and delete old messages regularly.
Cookies and tracking
This website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. Our fonts and videos are hosted on our own website, so viewing them does not send your information to other companies. Cookies are only set for staff who log in to manage the website.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or object to how we use it. Email info@misitumilele.org and we will respond within a reasonable time. You can also contact the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner in Kenya.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
